Jason Areephituk is an illustrator, graphic designer, photographer, and fine artist based out of Long Island, New York.

His work is influenced greatly by his surrounding environment, his repressed emotions, and wild imagination. The characters he creates have been labeled as being sad, decrepit, strange and AWKWARD.

His illustrative and painting media revolve around pencil, pen and ink, watercolor and mixed media on watercolor paper, canvas, or wood. He shoots with a Canon DSLR, Canon AE-1 Program, Mamiya 645, and a plethora of other vintage film cameras. He is also proficient with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. All of these tools have taught Jason how to be a well rounded artist with the ability to adapt and evolve.
